5star Eliminates FlyQuest at Asian Champions League in Shanghai

FlyQuest was eliminated from the Hero Esports Asian Champions League in Shanghai after losing to Mongolian team 5star in a lower-bracket match. The loss ends the Oceanic organization’s participation at the live event.

Dulguun ‘hoolig4n’ Batsaikhan led 5star with a 57-42 kill-death line, 79.4 average damage per round (ADR) and a Rating 3.0 of 1.24. Uuganbayar ‘NEUZ’ Nyam-Otgon posted 50-51 K-D, 78.4 ADR and a 1.13 rating. Other 5star members provided supporting statistical contributions that helped secure the win.

FlyQuest recorded notable individual performances but did not advance. Declan ‘Vexite’ Portelli had a team-high 73-45 K-D, 94.6 ADR and a 1.57 Rating 3.0. Joshua ‘INS’ Potter finished 49-42 with 74.0 ADR and a 1.11 rating. Corey ‘nettik’ Browne posted 39-45, 71.6 ADR and a 1.03 rating. João ‘story’ Vieira went 45-45 with 69.2 ADR and a 0.89 rating, while Justin ‘jks’ Savage was 39-45 with 63.0 ADR and a 0.79 rating.

FlyQuest had dropped to the lower bracket earlier after a group-stage loss to JiJieHao. In that match Justin ‘jks’ Savage recorded 48-39, 85.9 ADR and a 1.27 rating; Joshua ‘INS’ Potter had 46-44, 80.3 ADR and a 1.20 rating; João ‘story’ posted 45-40, 75.3 ADR and a 1.11 rating. Corey ‘nettik’ Browne went 36-43 with 65.1 ADR and a 0.93 rating, and Declan ‘Vexite’ Portelli finished 30-45 with 58.4 ADR and a 0.84 rating.

The Hero Esports Asian Champions League in Shanghai features regional squads and invited teams in a live format. With FlyQuest eliminated, 5star advances in the lower bracket to continue competing at the event.
