100 Thieves sweep Group C to reach Stake Pulse Beat II quarters

100 Thieves secured a quarter-final spot at Stake Pulse Beat II in Stockholm after finishing Group C with two series wins. The group stage concluded Thursday, setting the eight-team playoff bracket for matches beginning Friday.

Against EAC, 100 Thieves won Mirage 13-8, taking nine rounds on the CT side, and then prevailed on Inferno 19-16 after a second overtime period. EAC’s Andreas anber Brandt recorded an ace in round 34, but the match ended in 100 Thieves’ favour.

In the second series, Phantom won Nuke 13-9, but 100 Thieves responded on Mirage with a 13-4 score. William sirah Kjærsgaard posted a 2.14 rating on Mirage. The decider on Inferno saw Jack Gizmy von Spreckelsen produce a strong T-side performance and Nicolai device Reedtz finish the match with a three-kill round 23 to complete the 2-1 comeback.

Across the two matches, sirah led the team’s map-stage numbers on Mirage, and device posted a solid overall rating for the day. The roster that advanced includes AWPer Nicolai device Reedtz and in‑game leader Jack Gizmy von Spreckelsen.

The group stage reduced the field from 16 teams to eight. Group winners were Astralis, HEROIC, 100 Thieves and JiJieHao. Group runners-up advancing to the Sweden LAN are Sangal, BBL, fnatic and Betclic. The quarter-finals begin Friday at 07:00 local time; 100 Thieves are scheduled to face BBL at 11:00 on 25 September.

Stake Pulse Beat II carries naming rights from Stake, a crypto and betting operator that is sponsoring the event. A win in Stockholm would send 100 Thieves into the semi-finals and further into the tournament’s prize bracket.
