TenZ reportedly set to return to VALORANT with T1

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is reportedly set to return to competitive VALORANT with T1 for the 2027 VCT Pacific season, alongside Austin “crashies” Roberts.

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is reportedly set to join T1’s primary VALORANT roster for the 2027 VCT Pacific season. Former Fnatic and NRG player Austin “crashies” Roberts is also expected to join the team.

The reported signings would give T1 two North American players for the 2027 Pacific season. TenZ and crashies would become the first non-South Korean players on T1’s primary VALORANT roster since the organization began competing in VCT Pacific.

TenZ stepped away from competitive play after VALORANT Champions 2024. He joined T1 as a content creator in May 2026. In late October, he posted that he was looking for a team. The post received more than six million views.

The reports follow changes to T1’s VALORANT program. T1 has parted ways with head coach KDG, long-serving coach CheongGak and players Meteor, Munchkin and DH. The organization also dissolved its academy program shortly before the roster changes.

T1 retains iZu, stax and BuZz from its previous lineup. TenZ won two Masters titles with Sentinels and has played Duelist, Controller and Initiator agents during his career.

T1 confirmed its partnership with Riot Games for the 2027–2028 VCT Pacific cycle. The 2027 Pacific season is scheduled to feature the revised roster, although T1 has not confirmed TenZ’s or crashies’ reported signings.
