Team Vitality opens V.Hub fan zone at IEM Cologne

Team Vitality will open the V.Hub fan zone at KWB im Stadtpalais on 18 June. The space runs through 21 June and sits close to LANXESS Arena while the IEM Cologne Major playoffs take place. The venue is intended to give travelling Counter-Strike 2 fans in-person experiences and to increase visibility for the club’s commercial partners.

Commercial partners hosting activations at the V.Hub include Skin.Club, ASUS ROG, EVNIA and Blacklyte. ASUS ROG and EVNIA operate hardware test zones where attendees can try components and systems. Skin.Club runs branded activities and Blacklyte maintains an interactive presence. The hub also features a gaming area with custom Counter-Strike maps, a pop-up retail outlet selling official Team Vitality merchandise and giveaways such as a co-branded ASUS ROG x Team Vitality mousepad.

An exhibition section displays the club’s Major trophies for photo opportunities. The site provides structured food and drink hospitality for visitors throughout the four days.

Amélie Canet, Team Vitality’s chief marketing officer, noted the fan zone was created ‘hand in hand with our partners’ and said the activation is intended to build community while expanding physical merchandise sales and product visibility at international events.

Global Esports Industry Week runs in Cologne from 18–21 June alongside the Major. Team Vitality ran a comparable on-site activation at the Rocket League Championship Series Paris Major in May. Organisers described the V.Hub as a timed physical presence near the tournament designed to convert event spectators into consumers through product trials and demonstrations.
