T1 and Invictus Gaming reached the Worlds 2026 quarterfinals on Oct. 28 after winning their fourth-round Swiss Stage matches against Movistar KOI and LYON.

The opening game lasted nearly 40 minutes and ended with T1 holding a 20-10 kill advantage. Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon, playing Ambessa, found an opening on Movistar KOI AD carry David “Supa” Martínez García during a dragon fight, helping T1 win the engagement.

T1 finished the second game in 25 minutes and 39 seconds with a 22-9 kill advantage. Ryu “Keria” Min-seok secured first blood with a mid-lane roam while playing Karma. Jungler Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun also stole a dragon with Jarvan IV. T1 built a lead of more than 10,000 gold before ending the series.

Invictus Gaming earned its third Swiss Stage win by defeating LYON, which dropped to 2-2. Dplus KIA and Gen.G had already qualified with 3-0 records. T1 and Invictus Gaming join them at 3-1, filling four of the eight quarterfinal spots.

Karmine Corp will face CTBC Flying Oyster in an elimination match, followed by Top Esports against Bilibili Gaming in a playoff-qualification match. Team Liquid will play LOS, and Hanwha Life Esports will face G2 Esports in the other two matches.
