Nemiga defeated FUT in the quarterfinals before beating world No. 1 Team Vitality 2-0 in the semifinals. A win over FURIA would give Nemiga its first Tier 1 title.
FURIA entered the tournament after winning the Thunderpick World Championship 2026. The Brazilian team beat DENDELE in the Swiss stage, then lost to NAVI and Spirit. Wins over TYLOO and Liquid sent FURIA into the playoffs.
FURIA defeated BetBoom in the quarterfinals and MOUZ in the semifinals. The team’s playoff wins included strong performances from molodoy and YEKINDAR. FURIA are ranked third in the global VRS standings and are playing in their second grand final of the month after finishing as runners-up at the IEM Cologne Major.
The teams have not previously met. Each team will have one map ban in the best-of-five series. Nemiga’s regular ban is Inferno, while FURIA usually removes Anubis. Ancient, Cache, Dust 2, Mirage and Nuke are therefore expected to make up the map pool.
