MOUZ win, PR debuts in BLAST Bounty Season 2

MOUZ beat Nuclear TigeRES 2-0 on July 22, 2026 during the opening fixtures of BLAST Bounty Season 2, securing a victory in Oldřich “PR” Nový’s first match with the team.

MOUZ won the first map, Ancient, with an effective offensive display that allowed them to build an early lead. On Nuke, Nuclear TigeRES disrupted MOUZ’s usual tempo and pushed the match toward a potential decider. A three-kill round on the Desert Eagle by Lotan “Spinx” Giladi shifted momentum back to MOUZ, helped stabilize their economy and closed the series.

PR’s debut ended in a win, his first appearance for MOUZ at the BLAST Bounty event. The match highlighted MOUZ’s offensive strengths on Ancient and defensive difficulties on Nuke that Nuclear TigeRES attempted to exploit before Spinx’s round.

Other opening-day results included Astralis overturning an early deficit to beat Nemesis after dropping Nuke, with Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard and Love “phzy” Smidebrant delivering key performances on Ancient and Cache. Ninjas in Pyjamas swept M80 2-0, led by Martin “stavn” Lund and a closing effort by Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara on Ancient.

Wildcard produced a 2-0 win over Alliance on Inferno and Dust2. Alliance had finished in the top four at XSE Pro League Guangzhou prior to BLAST Bounty.

BLAST Bounty’s draft format gives lower-ranked teams the right to choose opponents, resulting in many matchups between lower- and higher-ranked sides. The event resumed after the summer player break and several teams showed adjustments in roles and tactics during opening-day matches.

Play continues across the season. An upcoming fixture of note is Major winners Falcons versus 100 Thieves, which will pair Finn “karrigan” Andersen against Håvard “rain” Nygaard.
