MOUZ defeated The MongolZ 2-0 at PGL Masters to move into the 2-1 pool and within one win of the playoffs. Oldřich “PR” Nový led the series with a 1.53 rating.

MOUZ won Nuke 13-10 after losing several rounds in the middle of the map. The team led 8-6 before dropping an anti-force round, a 5v3 after Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás’s game crashed and a 3v1 to Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga.

Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar recorded a kill in eight consecutive rounds during The MongolZ’s run. MOUZ regained control when PR held Ramp at 9-10 and won four of the next five rounds to close out the map.

MOUZ avoided similar round losses on Mirage and controlled the gun rounds to secure the series. PR opened the map with a 14-1 kill-death record while anchoring the B site. He finished the series with 30 kills on the CT side and a 1.74 CT-side rating across both maps.

PR ended the series with 45 kills and 24 deaths. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi added 35 kills, while Dorian “xertioN” Berman, Adrian “xelex” Vincze and torzsi also finished with positive kill differentials.

The MongolZ received 32 kills from nin9 and 31 from cobrazera. Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold, Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch and Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren finished with negative kill differentials. Techno has now recorded a rating below 1.01 on 11 straight Mirage maps.

The MongolZ were playing without bLitz and 910 in their usual roles. A win would have lifted the team to 12th in the VRS and strengthened its case for invitations at the start of 2027.

The MongolZ remain in a strong position to reach Stage 2 of PGL Major Singapore. They need two more wins at PGL Masters to reach the playoffs, while MOUZ need one more victory after losing to Liquid on the opening day.
