MOONTON, Qiddiya Sign Five-Year MPL MENA Finals Deal

MOONTON Games and Qiddiya Investment Company have agreed to a five-year hosting deal for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Middle East and North Africa Grand Finals, known as MPL MENA. Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia will host the event from 2027 through 2031.

The Grand Finals are the final event of each MPL MENA season. Teams from across the region compete for the league title. The agreement gives the finals a fixed venue for five consecutive years, allowing teams and organizers to plan around the same location each season.

The event will take place in Qiddiya City’s gaming and esports section. The area is being developed to host tournaments, provide training facilities for professional players and offer venues for fans to watch matches in person. Exact dates for the 2027 finals, ticketing information and prize pool amounts have not been announced.

Ray Ng, head of the esports ecosystem at MOONTON Games, described the agreement as giving MPL MENA “a long-term home and a stronger foundation to grow the league, elevate fan experiences, and nurture regional talent.” He added that the organizations aim to support young talent and encourage professional players to become role models for the next generation.

MOONTON Games said MPL MENA is entering its tenth season. Team Falcons won the most recent season, according to the company.

Qiddiya City is under construction in Saudi Arabia and is focused on entertainment, sports and culture. Its gaming and esports section is planned to host tournaments, training activities and other competitive gaming events.

The agreement follows a separate five-year partnership that MOONTON Games and Qiddiya signed in May 2026. That deal covered fan engagement, match broadcasts, community programs and smaller events for young people across the region.
