Maden replaces Tauson for GamerLegion at IEM Beijing
Pavle ‘Maden’ Bošković will stand in for Sebastian ‘Tauson’ Lindelof at GamerLegion for the IEM Beijing closed qualifier Sept. 2-4 after Tauson was declared unavailable for health reasons.
GamerLegion will field Pavle ‘Maden’ Bošković in place of Sebastian ‘Tauson’ Tauson Lindelof for the IEM Beijing 2026 closed qualifier, which will be played online from Sept. 2-4. GamerLegion announced Tauson is unavailable due to health reasons.
The qualifier features 16 teams in a double-elimination format and offers two spots at the November IEM Beijing event. GamerLegion opens against Nuclear TigeRES in the tournament’s first match. All matches will be played online across the three qualifier dates.
By HLTV ranking, GamerLegion entered the qualifier as the second-highest-ranked team. Tauson will not participate in the event; Maden will serve as the team’s stand-in for the duration of the qualifier.
GamerLegion has one major tournament remaining on its calendar for the rest of the year, the FISSURE Playground 3, which is scheduled to begin next week.
The organisation did not provide further details on Tauson’s condition or how long he will be sidelined. For the qualifier, Maden will take Tauson’s place in the lineup as GamerLegion competes for one of the two qualifying berths to IEM Beijing in November.
