LOUD parts ways with unannounced Counter-Strike roster

LOUD dismissed a Counter-Strike roster it reportedly signed in May before any official announcement. IGL Leonardo ‘zmb’ Toledo and coach Pablo ‘disturbed’ Fernandes posted they are no longer under contract and added the group intends to stay together while remaining open to individual offers.

On the social post, the players wrote they were “no longer under contract” and that the lineup “remains open to individual offers.”

LOUD had teased an expansion into Counter-Strike and reportedly completed the signing of the LP roster in May. The organization covered registration fees for several tournaments and supported a bootcamp in Portugal during the period of the reported agreement.

LP competed at multiple LAN events in Portugal, finishing 5th-8th at Roman Imperium Cup VIII, HyperX Retake Season 12 and LeonBet Masters Season 1. The lineup trained and traveled for those events while the reported deal was in place.

The roster comprised Leonardo ‘zmb’ Toledo, Leonardo ‘Leomonster’ Enrique, Alisson ‘Alisson’ Farias, Guilherme ‘happ’ Bento and Gustavo ‘divine’ Santicioli Altapini, with Pablo ‘disturbed’ Fernandes serving as coach. After the contract update, the players said they will explore offers together and individually on the free-agent market.

The dismissal follows recent regulatory change in Brazil. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed an order banning fixed-odd sports betting one week before the first round of the presidential election. Keyd Stars announced it was pausing its Counter-Strike division, citing recent changes in the competitive landscape and in the country’s business and regulatory environment.

LOUD has not issued a public statement confirming the end of any agreement. Representatives for the players and the organization did not provide further comment beyond the posts. The roster’s immediate plans beyond remaining open to offers were not disclosed.
