Legacy’s arT out of ESL Pro League Season 24 with meningitis

Legacy announced that Andrei “arT” Piovezan will miss ESL Pro League Season 24 in Katowice after contracting meningitis. He is under medical care and is expected to be sidelined for at least 10 days. The team will travel to the event with Pedro “bobz” Rocha as a substitute.

In a statement, Legacy wrote that arT “is under medical care and in the recovery process and should remain sidelined for at least 10 days” and that the organisation is “following all necessary guidelines to ensure his well-being.” The team added it will provide updates on his condition and asked fans to leave messages of support.

Pedro “bobz” Rocha last played competitively in 2024 for MIBR Academy. He later worked as an assistant coach for Fluxo and Yawara and has been an analyst for Legacy in recent months. Legacy plans to field bobz alongside Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira and Santino “try” Rigal, with Alan “adrrr” Riveros as coach.

Legacy placed third at the Esports World Cup and won FISSURE Playground 3 in their most recent event. The organisation did not provide a timeline beyond the minimum 10-day recovery window. Medical staff will continue to monitor arT while the squad competes in Katowice with the listed roster and the stand-in.
