Gregory “balblna” Oleinick has stepped down as K27’s head coach after 15 months with the organization. Analyst Dmitry “Twizell” Rygin will lead the team on an interim basis at its upcoming tournaments.

Oleinick, 30, joined K27 in a coaching role 15 months ago. During his tenure, K27 won MPKBK CIS LAN Season 3 and Season 8 and made its first appearances at tier-one events, including PGL Astana and the Esports World Cup.

K27 CEO Ivan Kondratov thanked Oleinick for taking charge of the team and working with its young players. “We started at the very bottom of the rankings, and in just one year, we’ve reached such great heights!” Kondratov wrote in a statement. He added that Oleinick’s work with K27 would help him find a new team.

Rygin has worked as K27’s analyst for most of the past two years. K27 is scheduled to compete in WINLINE MPKBK CIS LAN Season 9 and the RLG Tesla Cup before the early November deadline for PGL Singapore invitations.
