Joseph Joon “Jojopyun” Pyun has signed a contract extension with Movistar KOI that runs through 2027, the Spanish organization announced. The Canadian player joined the club in December 2024 and will remain based in Europe.
Movistar KOI published the announcement with the slogan “Es por Joselito. MKOI es por todos,” translated by the club as “It’s for Joselito. MKOI is for everyone.” The organization also used the phrase “Todavía queda mucha historia por escribir” alongside the renewal.
The extension follows a season in which there was public speculation about a possible return to North America. Movistar KOI confirmed Jojopyun will stay with the team through 2027 and promoted the renewal across its social channels.
