GRID to Provide Real-Time Data for LJL 2026 Spring Series

LJL named GRID its official data partner for the 2026 Spring Series to supply live stats, enhanced visuals and match information for broadcasts from April 29 through mid-June.

The League of Legends Japan League (LJL) named GRID as its official data partner for the 2026 Spring Series. GRID will supply real-time statistics, enhanced visuals and live match information for broadcasts and viewing platforms. The Spring Series runs from April 29 to early- to mid-June. The announcement was posted on the league’s official social channels as main stage matches began.

GRID will feed official, real-time match data into LJL broadcasts and apps to provide live metrics and updated on-screen information. Overlays and graphics will update during games with statistics such as player damage totals, in-game economy figures and accuracy percentages. LJL did not provide a full feature list or disclose longer-term plans.

GRID’s data platform ingests feeds directly from game publishers, including Riot Games, and distributes that data to broadcasters, apps, websites and analysts. Because the platform uses publisher data rather than scraped or third-party feeds, GRID markets the output as an official source for broadcasts and downstream partners.

The LJL is Japan’s top-level League of Legends competition and is run by Riot Games in partnership with PlayBrain. The 2026 Spring Series is the league’s 25th season.

GRID has expanded partnerships across gaming and esports, working with Smilegate to build official match data for the FPS title Crossfire and entering a partnership with developer Ninja Kiwi. Other data and technology firms have also secured deals in competitive gaming, including partnerships between Runestone and organizers in the Dota 2 ecosystem.

LJL broadcasters and production teams will integrate GRID’s platform into match coverage. Technical and presentation details such as specific on-screen layouts, commentator workflows and app integrations were not specified. The league plans to introduce additional data features as the tournament progresses through the main stage and into playoffs.
