100 Thieves rally past Falcons with 1v3 clutch on Anubis

100 Thieves defeated Falcons in a three-map series on day two of BLAST Bounty Season 2, completing a comeback on the Anubis decider. The match ended when William “sirah” Kjærsgaard won a 1v3 clutch to prevent overtime after his team trailed 3–9.

Falcons opened the series with a clean win on Nuke. Nikola “NiKo” Kovač led the defense as Team Falcons won the map without dropping a round. 100 Thieves CS2 roster recovered on Falcons’ Dust2 pick, where Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren posted a strong performance, Håvard “rain” Nygaard produced several multi-kills and Nicolai “device” Reedtz secured three late clutches to help flip the series.

On Anubis, Falcons led 7–0 and held a 9–3 advantage at half, helped by a 2.21 first-half rating from Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov. After the side swap, 100 Thieves’ new in-game leader Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen called a T-side that produced eight consecutive rounds and pushed the team to match point. Sirah’s final 1v3 completed the comeback and closed the map.

Stat lines underlined the tight contest. Falcons’ Ilya “m0NESY” finished with 52 kills and a 1.28 rating; Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin had 50 kills and a 1.26 rating. For 100 Thieves, rain recorded 45 kills with a 1.15 rating and poiii had 42 kills and a 1.03 rating.

Rain praised Gizmy’s in-game leadership after the match, comparing his calling style to karrigan and adding, “It feels really good, it’s a nice win to have.” Falcons’ Finn “karrigan” Andersen produced several key rounds in the decider, including back-to-back triple kills late in the match, but Falcons were unable to reach overtime.

Earlier on day two, FaZe swept EYEBALLERS in two maps. Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski produced a 1.65-rated Mirage to help force overtime before FaZe closed out Dust2 with an 11–3 map. EYEBALLERS competed with Simon “yxngstxr” Boije as a stand-in for Max “maxster” Jansson.

G2 won their match after a reverse-sweep with new signing Artem “r1nkle” Moroz. R1nkle described rebuilding his form in a pre-match interview and said he has freedom within the team to play his natural style: “You’re gonna get a r1nkle that plays how he wants to play, a r1nkle that is going to enjoy the game.” HOTU became the first successful Bounty Hunters of the day by sweeping GamerLegion. HOTU closed Dust2 in round 24 and posted a near-lockout on Ancient defense, with Dmitry “mizu” Kondratev and Aleksandr “dwushka” Pakhnevich recording the key rounds.
