Donk posts 2.84 rating as Spirit rout 100 Thieves 13-0

Spirit secured the last qualification spot for the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals in Malta after Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets posted a 2.84 rating in a 13-0 Dust2 decider against 100 Thieves.

The best-of-three began on Anubis, where Spirit trailed 10-6 before using strong CT-side holds to reverse the score and win 13-11. Mirage followed, with William ‘sirah’ Kjærsgaard leading 100 Thieves’ A-site efforts to a 10-2 lead and a 13-4 map win over Spirit.

On Dust2, donk opened with a 1v3 round and maintained pressure for the whitewash. He finished the match with a career-high 2.84 rating. Across the series donk recorded 59 kills and a 100.5 average damage per round (ADR). Dmitry ‘sh1ro’ Sokolov and Andrey ‘tN1R’ Tatarinovich added important contributions across the three maps.

The victory made Spirit the only top-10 team to qualify for the Malta finals so far. The lineup, already two-time BLAST Bounty champions, will travel to Malta to defend their title.

Boris ‘magixx’ Vorobiev called the Mirage defeat a “slap in the face” that refocused the team. He noted opponents ranked outside the top 40 bring different tactical ideas that can disrupt expectations and highlighted the need for preparedness. Magixx also praised Jack ‘Gizmy’ von Spreckelsen, 100 Thieves’ new in-game leader, for introducing varied strategies that create tricky situations for opponents.

100 Thieves leave the qualifier after mixed results; they earlier beat Falcons under Gizmy’s leadership. Sirah finished the series with 38 kills and a 73.4 ADR, producing the strongest individual performance for 100 Thieves on Mirage.
