G2 Esports has partnered with PUBG Mobile Esports to open registration for the 2026 PMCO Western Europe Wildcard and to host PMGO and PMCO Western Europe finals in September.

G2 Esports has formed a partnership with PUBG Mobile Esports to expand competitive mobile gaming in Western Europe. Registration is open for the 2026 PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Western Europe Wildcard.

The organisations will stage the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Western Europe Finals from 11 to 13 September and the PMCO Western Europe Finals on 14 September 2026. Organisers have said further venue and ticket details will be released ahead of the events.

G2’s in-house creative production unit, 62, will manage tournament operations, media buying, creator partnerships and community activations for the regional programme. 62 will oversee logistics and promotional activity for the Wildcard and the finals weekend.

The partnership connects PUBG Mobile’s global tournament circuit with G2’s content operations to establish an amateur-to-pro pathway for players and viewers across Western European markets. The programme aims to increase competitive participation and audience engagement in the region.

G2 will run a regional ambassador programme led by content creator JanickaGaming, who will produce weekly streams and interactive coverage tied to the competitive calendar. G2 says creator campaigns and community events will support the pathway from casual play into organised competition.

Alban Dechelotte, G2’s chief executive, commented:

When you look at the scale mobile esports has reached in Asia, it’s hard not to get excited about the opportunity in Western Europe. It still feels like we’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible here.

Shaowei Chen, head of Western Europe publishing at PUBG Mobile, added that the collaboration seeks to build a long-standing hub for PUBG Mobile esports audiences in the region by combining PUBG Mobile’s competitive infrastructure with G2’s entertainment-focused approach.

The announcement follows other publisher efforts to broaden mobile esports beyond Asia. Recent deals include MOONTON Games partnering with SURGE in Europe and NODWIN Gaming in the Americas, and infrastructure providers such as Runestone supporting regional development.

Organisers say registration and event details are available now for teams and players interested in the 2026 PMCO Western Europe Wildcard.
