Epic Games will stream the first 10 minutes of The Mandalorian and Grogu for free inside Fortnite on a Nevarro-themed watch-party island, followed by a live Q&A with director Jon Favreau.

Epic Games released update v40.41 for Fortnite and opened a Nevarro-themed watch party island where players can watch the first 10 minutes of the film The Mandalorian and Grogu. The screening is free and will be followed by a live question-and-answer session with director Jon Favreau.

The island includes a movie-theater area modeled after the planet Nevarro and is fully interactive. Players can complete themed quests while attending the screening, and encounters with Imperial forces and bounty hunters add gameplay challenges during visits.

Players can access the island using code 9477-7400-8437. The footage shown in the theater is limited to the opening 10 minutes and is available without charge to anyone who loads the island in-game.

The Mandalorian and Grogu premiered in theaters on May 22, 2026. Jon Favreau directed the project and Dave Filoni is credited as a co-writer. The release serves as a film replacement for the fourth season of the TV series The Mandalorian.

The watch party is available inside Fortnite as part of update v40.41; players must have the update installed to join the island.

Previously, we reported that Fortnite confirmed Overwatch skins: D.Va, Tracer, Mercy, Genji with the v40.40 update.
