Dota 2’s first dedicated orchestral concert, Immortal Symphony, will debut July 11 in Shanghai, ahead of The International 2026 at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Dota 2’s first dedicated live orchestral concert, “Immortal Symphony,” will make its global debut on July 11 at the Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall.

The concert will adapt Dota 2’s soundtrack for a full orchestra and is described as the first standalone orchestral performance created specifically for the game. Organizers have not yet published the full concert program, the list of participating musicians, or details on whether the show will include visual elements.

The announcement comes ahead of The International 2026, Dota 2’s annual world championship tournament, which is scheduled to take place from August 20 to August 23 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. Tickets for TI2026 will officially go on sale on June 10 at 2:00 p.m. GMT+8.

Dota 2, developed and published by Valve, is one of the world’s most prominent multiplayer online battle arena games and has built a major global esports scene around The International. Its music has long been part of the game’s identity, appearing across tournament broadcasts, trailers, and major competitive moments.

Video game music has increasingly moved into concert halls through orchestral performances based on major franchises. According to organizers, “Immortal Symphony” will be the first dedicated live orchestral concert created specifically for Dota 2.
