Brazil’s LOS Eliminate Team Liquid at Worlds 2026

Brazil’s LOS defeated Team Liquid 2-1 on Friday, October 30, in Round 4 of the Swiss Stage at the League of Legends World Championship. The result eliminated North America’s top seed and made LOS the first Brazilian team to reach the fifth and final Swiss Stage round.

Both teams entered the series facing elimination. LOS won the opening game 15-7 in kills, while Team Liquid took the second game to force a decider.

The third game lasted more than 47 minutes. LOS built a gold lead of nearly 8,000 in the final stages, pushed into Team Liquid’s base and destroyed the Nexus to win the series.

The victory gave LOS a 2-2 record and kept the team in contention for a place in the quarterfinals. LOS will play another best-of-three elimination series on Saturday, October 31, against a team with a 2-2 record. The opponent will be determined by a draw after Round 4 concludes.

A win would give LOS a 3-2 record and one of the three remaining quarterfinal places. A loss would end the team’s Worlds 2026 run.

LOS opened the tournament with losses to T1 and G2 Esports before defeating Team Secret Whales. The win over Team Liquid secured the team’s place in the fifth Swiss Stage round.
