BLAST Open Fall 2026 tops spring peak as Team Spirit claims title

BLAST Open Fall 2026 reached a peak audience of 849,574 viewers during the Grand Final on Sept. 6, a 3.3% increase from the spring edition. Team Spirit defeated MOUZ 3–1 to win the title.

Team Spirit entered the final without dropping a map in the event; MOUZ tied the series at 1–1 before Team Spirit won the last two maps to close out the match.

Danil “donk” Kryshkovets was named Big Event MVP for the tenth time, finishing the tournament with a 1.40 HLTV rating.

The event recorded the highest peak audience of any BLAST event in 2026 to date and ranked seventh among Counter-Strike 2 tournaments this year by peak viewers.

Russian-language broadcasts posted a 34% increase in peak viewers and an 11.4% rise in hours watched compared with the BLAST Open Spring 2026 edition, coinciding with Team Spirit’s title run. Portuguese-language streams also saw higher numbers after FURIA advanced to the quarterfinals; FURIA had not reached the playoffs at the spring event.

Co-streamers Leonid “chopperinho” Vishnyakov, Max “shadowkekw” Pavlov and Alexandre “Gaules” Borba were among the most-watched individual broadcasters, while official tournament channels accounted for the majority of total viewership.

Organizers released match-by-match metrics and detailed viewership breakdowns following the event.

The next major Counter-Strike 2 event is FISSURE Playground #3, scheduled Sept. 8–13 in Suzhou, China. The tournament will feature five teams ranked in the top 10 of the VRS and will use two double-elimination groups of eight teams, for a 16-team field.
