BETBOOM eliminates PARIVISION from Thunderpick Championship

BETBOOM beat PARIVISION 2-1 in a reverse sweep to reach the Group B decider at the Thunderpick World Championship and improve its PGL Singapore Major qualification chances.

BETBOOM defeated PARIVISION 2-1, losing Ancient 10-13 before winning Anubis 13-4 and Mirage 13-7. The result sent PARIVISION out of the Thunderpick World Championship and kept Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov’s team in contention for a PGL Singapore Major place.

PARIVISION led on Ancient after taking four rounds on its T side. Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov helped his team recover after the break with an early 1v3 clutch. PARIVISION won the next 10 rounds after BETBOOM reached double digits, with xiELO recording a 19-4 kill-death record, 136.4 ADR and a 2.82 rating on the map.

BETBOOM responded on Anubis with a 13-4 win. Its defense held PARIVISION to four rounds, while errors in mid-round situations limited Dzhami “Jame” Ali’s team on offense.

BETBOOM took a 9-3 lead on the CT side of Mirage. Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko produced several key AWP rounds, and PARIVISION could not recover from early losses in its attacks. BETBOOM reached match point before stopping a late comeback attempt on a half-buy.

Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin led BETBOOM with 49 kills and a 1.41 rating across the series. Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov had 47 kills and a 1.25 rating, while zorte finished with 51 kills and a 1.20 rating. Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov posted a 1.31 rating.

BETBOOM’s estimated chance of qualifying for the PGL Singapore Major is now 89.1%, following its opening-match loss to FURIA. The team will face the loser of FURIA versus Legacy in the Group B decider. The match did not affect PARIVISION’s Major qualification prospects. PARIVISION had reached the playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 24 before exiting the Thunderpick World Championship.
