BC.Game Clinches Final Slot at Stake Pulse Beat III

BC.Game beat Sashi 2-1 in the second open qualifier final to claim the last ticket for Stake Pulse Beat III in Stockholm, Oct. 12–17.

BC.Game defeated Sashi 2-1 in the grand final of the second open qualifier to secure the final berth at Stake Pulse Beat III, which will take place in Stockholm from Oct. 12 to 17.

The Singapore-based team lost an earlier qualifier match to Xcity, ranked 325th on the VRS, then withstood a late push from Phantom in the semi-finals before beating Sashi 2-1 in the decisive match.

The qualification follows several recent early exits in other open qualifiers, including PGL Masters Bucharest and IEM Beijing. Two of those eliminations occurred before later ranking updates, and BC.Game’s VRS position remained sufficient to keep them in contention for the Singapore Major.

Emil “Magisk” Reif leads a roster that has been reconfigured in recent weeks. Since the changes, the team won Elisa Breakout Series 1 and finished 9–16 at the Esports World Cup Open Qualifier.

Paweł “TaZ” Żebrowski reflected, “I’m proud of the guys that they were fighting until the end. This is not something we were known for at the beginning of the year.” Magisk praised the veteran players: “I’m impressed with the older guys, they’re trying their absolute best to remove some of the habits they’ve played with for many years.”

BC.Game will join teams such as Astralis, B8, Liquid and HEROIC at the Stockholm LAN, where the squad will compete on LAN from Oct. 12–17.
