Astralis and 100 Thieves advanced to the semi-finals of Stake Pulse Beat II after winning their quarter-final matches at the $60,000 LAN in Sweden. The semi-finals and grand final are scheduled for Sept. 26.
Astralis recovered from an early deficit to defeat Betclic, completing the comeback with a 13-0 map on Cache. 100 Thieves moved past BBL with consecutive 13-9 results to secure their spot in the last four.
Nicolai “device” Reedtz will meet his former team for the first time since leaving Astralis at the start of the year to join 100 Thieves.
The other semi-final pairs HEROIC against Sangal. HEROIC came from behind to eliminate fnatic in the quarter-finals. Sangal beat JiJieHao in two maps, with Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz posting a 1.47 series rating.
The final day on Sept. 26 starts with 100 Thieves versus Astralis at 10:00 local time, HEROIC versus Sangal at 13:00, and the grand final at 17:00. The remaining matches will decide the distribution of the $60,000 prize pool.
