aspas Has Offers Amid EMEA, China Talks for 2027
Brazilian VALORANT player aspas has received at least one offer and is in talks with teams in EMEA and China before the 2027 season.
Brazilian VALORANT player Erick “aspas” Santos has received at least one firm offer and is in talks with teams in EMEA and China ahead of the 2027 season. He has not decided where he will play next.
The duelist is considering teams from Brazil, the wider Americas, EMEA, China and the Pacific. His priority is to join a roster that can compete for championships rather than a specific league.
Aspas also wants long-term stability. He is seeking an organization where he can remain for several years, potentially until the end of his career. Unlike in previous negotiations, he does not plan to help select the players for his next roster.
Instead, aspas wants to join an established project with players and an organization that already share his goal of winning titles. The VCT transfer window is scheduled to open Monday, Nov. 2, and further discussions are expected after it opens.
Chinese organizations previously inquired about signing aspas in 2025. He chose to remain with MIBR and extended his contract with the Brazilian organization through December 2027.
On Oct. 23, MIBR announced that its VALORANT players had been placed on the inactive roster and made available for transfer negotiations. The organization cited changes to the competitive structure for 2027 and challenges linked to the regional transition.
Aspas remains under contract with MIBR, and no transfer has been completed. MIBR stated that potential transfers must be negotiated directly with the organization. Jérôme Coupez, aspas’ agent, later disputed that position and said interested teams could contact him directly.
No new team has been announced for aspas. Discussions and offers involving teams in EMEA and China remain ongoing.
