Alliance and G2 eliminate TYLOO, 9z from FISSURE Playground 3

At the group stage of FISSURE Playground 3, Alliance beat TYLOO 2-0 and G2 beat 9z 2-1, eliminating both TYLOO and 9z from the tournament.

Alliance closed out TYLOO on Inferno and Ancient, both by 13-11 scores. On Inferno TYLOO won both pistol rounds and reached 9-9, but Alliance took the late gun rounds to finish 13-11. On Ancient TYLOO again won both pistols and led 11-3 before Alliance ran nine consecutive rounds to complete the map 13-11. Qianhao ‘Moseyuh’ Chen finished with a 4-18 K-D line. Yi ‘JamYoung’ Yang recorded 36-30 and Su ‘Zero’ Jingshen 33-33 across the series.

In the other match, 9z opened with a 13-11 win on Dust2, converting a 12-6 lead and winning both pistols; Maximiliano ‘max’ Gonzalez produced a four-kill round in that map. G2 answered by taking Ancient 13-8. On Inferno G2 built a large early lead, with Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko making several key plays in man-disadvantage situations, and closed the decider to take the series 2-1.

Stat lines for the series included Matías ‘HUASOPEEK’ Ibañez Hernández leading 9z in kills, and G2 contributors Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko and Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz posting strong numbers. TYLOO exit the event in the 9–12 finishing range.

G2 will await the winner of Astralis versus 5star to learn their playoff opponent. Alliance will face the winner of PARIVISION versus magic for a remaining playoff spot. The group-stage defeats end TYLOO’s and 9z’s runs at FISSURE Playground 3.
