Adamb: Ninjas in Pyjamas Can Reach Top-10 Soon

Adam ‘adamb’ Ångström joined Ninjas in Pyjamas as a permanent signing and lifted the 1win Private Club S1 trophy after the team failed to advance from the group stage at Logitech G Play Connect 2026 in Poland.

NiP replaced long-standing captain Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer with Karim ‘Krimbo’ Moussa as in-game leader and added Ångström in place of temporary player Roman ‘n0te’ Hamze. The new lineup had two days of practice before Logitech G Play Connect and exited in the group stage.

After that result the team extended practice time and adjusted player roles. After roughly ten days of focused training NiP returned to competition at 1win Private Club S1 and won the event.

Ångström credited heavy practice, individual performances and Krimbo’s leadership for the result. ‘I knew we could win for sure ’cause everyone in the team, they’re so good, they’re helping me a lot,’ he added, saying the squad had been ‘grinding for the last two weeks.’

He highlighted teammate Paweł ‘xKacpersky’ for playmaking and a strong work ethic, and described Krimbo as having a clear grasp of the game and how to manage players. Ångström called xKacpersky ‘one of the most insane players I ever played with’ and described Krimbo’s leadership as ‘perfect’ from his first day.

Ångström said his role has shifted toward entry fragging. He described still learning some rounds and new responsibilities and credited coaches and teammates for helping him adapt.

Players reported long preparation days before the event, practising aim, reviewing demos and logging double-digit hours. Ångström described the team atmosphere as supportive and focused.

Reflecting on his time at OG, Ångström described frequent lineup changes and several near-misses. He named cadiaN as a close friend and a strong leader and said he expects other players from that roster to have good futures.

On short-term goals Ångström expressed confidence that NiP will qualify for the Major and move into the top-10 rankings soon.
