Game Changers EMEA Finals Return to Istanbul on Aug. 30

Riot Games confirmed the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA Grand Finals will take place at the ESA Esports Arena in Istanbul on 30 August. The venue will host the match and an official VCT EMEA watch party after the final. Tickets go on sale 3 August.

The Grand Finals will decide which EMEA teams qualify for the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in November. The event brings together the region’s top women and marginalized-gender teams after a season of Cash Cups and expanded competitive pathways.

ESA Esports Arena will stage the final match, then switch to the VCT EMEA watch party so fans in Istanbul can follow the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals taking place in Barcelona the same weekend.

Riot has appointed ESA as tournament organiser for a third consecutive year. The event schedule includes in-person fan activities before and after the match, meet-and-greets with Game Changers players, creator appearances, prize competitions and live coverage of the Grand Final from the arena.

At last year’s Game Changers finals, European teams did not reach the top four. The 30 August Grand Final will invite the most successful teams from the season to compete for places at the year-end championship.

Tomek, Esports Product Manager for VALORANT at VCT EMEA, described Istanbul as a ‘true home for VALORANT fans across the region’ and noted the watch party is intended to make the Finals ‘a celebration for the entire VALORANT community.’

The EMEA Game Changers ecosystem expanded in 2026 with more Cash Cups and additional events creating routes for players to progress. Some competitors also appeared in ENC national teams, and organisers reported national squads forming mixed rosters, including combinations from Switzerland and Denmark.

Tickets will be available from 3 August. The ESA Esports Arena will host both the Game Changers Grand Final and the extended VCT EMEA watch party on 30 August.
