Team Vitality names KIOXIA data storage supplier for 2026
Team Vitality named KIOXIA its official data storage supplier for the remainder of the 2026 season, supplying high-speed flash storage for LEC, LFL, Rising Bees and Rocket League.
Team Vitality announced in July 2026 that KIOXIA will serve as the club’s Official Data Storage Supplier for the remainder of the 2026 season. The deal covers supply of high-speed flash memory and solid-state drives for Vitality’s competitive and content operations.
KIOXIA will install storage hardware at Vitality’s performance facilities and production environments to support local player preparation, broadcast systems and digital content workflows. The equipment is intended to reduce load times and improve handling of large files across training and production setups.
The agreement applies to Vitality’s League of Legends teams in the LEC and French LFL, the all-female Rising Bees roster, and the Rocket League division. KIOXIA gains year-round visibility on the club’s digital channels, on-site activations at Paris Games Week and branded editorial content under a Powered by KIOXIA banner ahead of the Rocket League World Championship and the 2027 season launch.
Vas Roberts, Co-CEO of Team Vitality, said the supplier’s storage expertise and innovation matched the organisation’s objectives for high-performance player environments and new fan experiences. Roland Knippertz, Senior Manager B2C Sales & Marketing at KIOXIA Europe GmbH, described esports as a space to demonstrate how performance, reliability and creativity work together from competition to content creation.
The KIOXIA partnership follows other recent commercial moves by the Paris-based club. One week before the storage deal, Vitality confirmed Chinese electric-vehicle maker BYD as its official vehicle supplier and extended a one-year renewal with betting partner Stake, a partnership the club reported delivered more than $5 million in media value.
Under the contract, KIOXIA will support competitive preparation and the club’s content pipeline for the rest of 2026, with planned activations at key events and promotional activity linked to the Rocket League World Championship and the next season cycle. The supply of faster local storage targets workflows that require rapid access to large files and stable broadcast output to improve practice and production operations.
