Team Liquid benches AWPer Roland ultimate

Team Liquid announced that AWPer Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak has been moved to the bench ahead of the upcoming season, opening the AWPer slot for a different option.

Tomkowiak, 22, joined Liquid in July 2024 and spent two seasons on the active roster. He played 331 maps for the club and recorded a 1.02 overall rating.

His best tournament results with Liquid were third place at the CS Asia Championships 2025 and the Birch Cup 2025. The team did not record a tournament win while he was in the starting lineup. He competed at four Majors with Liquid, reaching the quarter-finals at the PW Major in Shanghai, and exiting in Stage 3 at Austin and Budapest and in Stage 1 at IEM Cologne.

Liquid’s active roster now lists Keith ‘NAF’ Markovic, Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski, Mario ‘malbsMd’ Samayoa, Kamil ‘siuhy’ Szkaradek and Viktor ‘flashie’ Tamás, with coach Bea. Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak is listed as a bench player as the organization prepares for the next season.

The club said the roster change creates space to try a different option in the AWPer position.
