T1 Esports Academy beat Europe’s Solary 3–2 in a five-game final to win the inaugural World Star Challengers Invitational; 17-year-old Kim “Eclipse” Min-jun was named Finals MVP.

T1 Esports Academy defeated European side Solary 3–2 in a five-game Grand Final to win the inaugural World Star Challengers Invitational, held in 2026. The event was an international competition for Tier 2 League of Legends teams.

The teams traded wins through the best-of-five series before T1 closed the match in game five. Tournament organizers awarded the winning team a $20,000 first-place prize.

Kim “Eclipse” Min-jun, 17, was named Finals MVP for his performance in the deciding game. Organizers did not release detailed player statistics or game-by-game summaries with the match report.

Earlier in 2026 T1 Esports Academy won the LCK Challengers 2026 Season, the academy’s first LCK Challengers title in five years. The World Star Challengers Invitational is the squad’s first international trophy at the Tier 2 level.

The Invitational featured academy and secondary teams from multiple regions, with Solary representing Europe in the final. The tournament served as the closing event for the 2026 Tier 2 competitive season.
