T.c declares free agent after Passion UA exit

Tiaan ‘T.c’ Coertzen posted on X that he has been a free agent since June, following Passion UA‘s withdrawal from the BC Game Masters Championship Season 2 in May.

Reports say Passion UA has not played an official match since the May withdrawal and that players and staff are owed significant sums. The team has been inactive on the official circuit since ending its season early.

Coertzen joined Passion UA in April 2025 after three years with Complexity. In the months that followed, the former Complexity core he had coached also moved to Passion UA.

Under Coertzen, Passion UA won Urban Riga Open S1, finished in the top four at several DraculaN events and reached Stage 3 of the StarLadder Budapest Major, narrowly missing the playoff bracket. Results declined in 2026 and the roster failed to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major.

Passion UA ended its season early by withdrawing from BC Game Masters Championship S2 in May. Coertzen confirmed he has not held a contract since June and is open to new opportunities.

His professional record includes three years with Complexity and the recent period at Passion UA. Reports about Passion UA’s internal and financial issues remain unresolved.
