Sinners’ beastik: Cologne exit ‘a disaster’ as FL4MUS steps up

SINNERS were eliminated 0-3 at IEM Cologne Major Stage 1 in Cologne. Captain Sebastian ‘beastik’ Daňo called the early exit ‘a disaster’ and expressed disappointment with the result.

Beastik described the team as having ‘kind of played okay-ish’ on the final day but said he expected more based on previous performances. He added: ‘A disaster, I would say, we did not come here for 0-3.’

Beastik highlighted FL4MUS taking on s1ren’s positions and adapting quickly: ‘He’s ready to push the smoke, and he’s ready to peek, and he’s very proactive inside the game.’ He noted that FL4MUS’s initiative made it easier for teammates to execute their plans on stage.

Beastik credited FL4MUS with taking responsibility during matches and noted the player often seized control without heavy prompting from leadership. FL4MUS was the highest-rated player on day one of the event, and Beastik expressed a wish for him to maintain that level going forward.

On squad management, Beastik explained the coaching approach focuses on placing insani and kl1m in situations where they can perform well, rather than forcing both to produce maximum individual output at the same time.

SINNERS will leave Cologne after the Stage 1 loss. Beastik’s comments combined disappointment over the results with recognition of FL4MUS’s strong stage performance as the team prepares to reassess after the tournament.
