s1mple backs Senzu to match or surpass donk

BC.Game player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev believes teammate Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold can become the next Danil “donk” Kryshkovets or surpass the Team Spirit star. The Ukrainian made the comparison on Saturday, November 7, while discussing Senzu’s development and their time as teammates in 2026.

S1mple linked Senzu’s progress to his work ethic, continued practice and ability to learn from mistakes. He also praised the 20-year-old Mongolian’s aim.

“Senzu has a chance to become the next donk, or even surpass him. The important thing is that he doesn’t get complacent, keeps practicing, and works on his mistakes. He’s probably the teammate with the best aim I’ve played with in the last five years,” s1mple said.

Donk ranked first in HLTV’s 2024 Top 20 Players list after his breakthrough season and finished second in 2025. He has won a Major. Senzu placed 13th in the 2025 ranking after helping The MongolZ reach the BLAST.tv Austin Major final and win the Esports World Cup.

Senzu has yet to win a Major or finish first in the annual ranking. The MongolZ moved him to its bench in October 2025, after which he joined Passion UA on loan in 2026. He first joined BC.Game on loan in April. The team failed to win a match at either of the two tournaments it played during that period.

The loan ended in June, and BC.Game announced Senzu’s permanent signing on June 23, 2026. He now plays alongside s1mple, who spent most of his career with Natus Vincere.

S1mple last appeared in HLTV’s annual top 20 in 2023, when he ranked seventh. He was the world’s No. 1 player in 2018, 2021 and 2022. He also expects to return to the list in 2027.

“I can make the top 20 next year without any problems. I know exactly how I need to play, but right now it all depends on the team’s chemistry and how well we work together,” s1mple said.

BC.Game is scheduled to begin its PGL Major Singapore 2026 campaign in Stage 1 on November 24. Team Spirit has already qualified directly for Stage 3.
