xertioN wins first career MVP at IEM Beijing

Dorian “xertioN” Berman won the first MVP award of his career at IEM Beijing after leading MOUZ through an unbeaten tournament run.

The Israeli in-game leader averaged a 1.53 rating in playoff matches against BETBOOM and The MongolZ. He recorded several of his strongest performances of the tournament during the playoffs.

MOUZ teammate Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás finished second in the MVP race. The Hungarian AWPer averaged a 1.20 rating in the playoffs after consistent performances earlier in the tournament, but his rating declined on the final map.

xertioN finished IEM Beijing with a 1.33 rating, compared with torzsi’s 1.28. His performances in the group stage and playoffs secured the award.

xertioN is the first in-game leader to win the top individual award at a Big Event since Dzhami “Jame” Ali was named MVP of the IEM Rio Major in 2022.
