PGL Masters Bucharest Sets Round 4 Matchups

PGL Masters Bucharest will enter the penultimate day of its group stage on Oct. 27. Three teams will secure playoff places, while three others will be eliminated from the tournament in Bucharest. FUT and BETBOOM have already qualified for the playoffs.

Liquid and Aurora will meet at 11 a.m. in the 2-1 pool, followed by Spirit against MOUZ at 2 p.m. Vitality will face Natus Vincere at 5 p.m. in the final match between teams with 2-1 records.

Spirit and MOUZ will meet for the eighth time this year. MOUZ has won three of their four matches since the summer break, including meetings at ESL Pro League, the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals and BLAST Open Porto.

The elimination matches will start at 11 a.m. with Nemiga playing DENDELE. The MongolZ, the winners of 1win Private Club Season 2, will face Legacy at 2 p.m. FURIA will meet TYLOO at 5 p.m.

The Vitality-Natus Vincere match will be Justinas “jL” Lekavicius’ first against his former organization since he left NAVI in July. The Lithuanian rifler is standing in for Vitality and is expected to play five matches before the Nov. 2 VRS update. The update could affect which player receives a sticker at the Singapore Major.

Three Brazilian teams-DENDELE, Legacy and FURIA-are in the elimination pool. DENDELE enters its match after defeating G2, while FURIA will look to recover from its loss to Spirit against TYLOO. Vitality player Jee has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament with chickenpox.
