Nexus signs ex-OG rifler Nexius, adds two internationals

Nexus announced a five-player active lineup that mixes two Romanian players with three internationals after a year of declining results. The organization kept Alexandru “s0und” Ștefan and in-game leader Mihai “fNk” Costache while signing Sébastien “SBT” Sabbadin, Roberts “shield” Tipsis and Bram “Nexius” Campana. Cătălin “H4rder” Hardulea remains head coach.

The roster change follows a slide in rankings. Nexus was just outside the VRS top 20 at the start of 2025 but fell outside the top 100 by March 2026. The team placed 21st-24th at DraculaN Season 6, and H4rder was installed as coach at the turn of the year prior to the current signings.

Alexandru “s0und” Ștefan has a 1.07 rating with Nexus since the start of 2025. Mihai “fNk” Costache joined the organization at the start of the year alongside H4rder and continues to serve as the team’s in-game leader.

The international additions are 24-year-old French rifler Sébastien “SBT” Sabbadin, Latvian AWPer Roberts “shield” Tipsis and Bram “Nexius” Campana. SBT carries a 0.93 career rating. Shield joins from 9INE and has a 1.08 career rating; he was benched by 9INE in March when that organization signed prospect Alan “flayy” Krupa. Nexius has previous stops with MOUZ NXT, OG and Nemesis.

Head coach H4rder directed the recruitment process, combining two homegrown players with three overseas signings. Nexus listed the active lineup as Sébastien “SBT” Sabbadin; Roberts “shield” Tipsis; Mihai “fNk” Costache; Alexandru “s0und” Ștefan; and Bram “Nexius” Campana, with H4rder as coach.

Nexus has developed Romanian teams for the past decade; the new roster represents a shift toward a more international lineup. The organization intends to field the updated squad at upcoming events as it seeks improved results and higher placement in future VRS rankings.
