NaVi to face Vitality in IEM Atlanta quarterfinals

Natus Vincere will meet Team Vitality in the IEM Atlanta quarterfinals on May 15 at 20:30 local time. The match is part of the event’s three-day playoff slate at IEM Atlanta.

Vitality dropped to the lower bracket early in Group A, while Natus Vincere finished second in Group B after losing the upper-bracket final to Legacy. Both teams advanced from the group stage to the single-elimination quarterfinals.

Vitality has beaten NaVi in three series this year without dropping a map, including two best-of-five finals. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire is part of the Vitality lineup that recorded those series wins.

Quarterfinal play opens Friday, May 15 with paiN facing GamerLegion at 17:15 local time, followed by NaVi versus Vitality at 20:30. Semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, May 16: BetBoom will play the NaVi/Vitality winner at 17:15, and Legacy will meet the paiN/GamerLegion winner at 20:30. The event concludes Sunday, May 17 with a third-place match and the grand final.

The IEM Atlanta playoffs are single elimination. Teams are competing for event placement and ranking points that contribute to their international standings.
