Movistar KOI clinch final LEC Worlds 2026 spot

Movistar KOI secured the LEC’s final Worlds 2026 berth with a 3-1 playoff win over NAVI after a 4-5 regular season and a Lower Bracket run.

Movistar KOI defeated NAVI 3-1 in the LEC 2026 Summer Split playoffs to claim the league’s final place at League of Legends Worlds 2026. The best-of-five series decided the last LEC representative.

Movistar KOI entered the playoffs as the lowest seed after a 4-5 regular season. The Spanish team advanced through the Lower Bracket, winning consecutive series to reach the decider against NAVI.

In the series against NAVI, Movistar KOI won three games while NAVI won one. Movistar KOI converted advantages into match wins across the games they took.

Mid laner Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun was named series MVP after a combined 21/5/24 KDA in the matchup. Jojopyun used multi-target ultimate abilities, created picks and applied map pressure that influenced teamfights and objective control.

With the victory, Movistar KOI becomes the final LEC representative at Worlds 2026, joining G2 Esports and Karmine Corp, who had already qualified. The team advances to the international tournament following its Lower Bracket run and the 3-1 series result over NAVI.
