MOUZ parts ways with Jimpphat after April benching

MOUZ has announced Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo is no longer contracted after being benched in April; he was promoted to the main squad in July 2023.
MOUZ announced that Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo is no longer contracted to the organization. The Finnish player had been on the bench since April and was promoted to the main squad in July 2023.
Jimpphat joined MOUZ NXT in May 2022 and earned a spot on the Hamburg-based club’s first team in mid-2023. The benching in April occurred as the team conducted a roster shakeup that also removed Ludvig ‘Brollan’ Brolin from the starting lineup after the squad failed to reach finals in the opening months of the year.
During his time with MOUZ, Jimpphat won a WePlay Academy League title with MOUZ NXT and was part of the main team’s Pro League victories at BB Dacha and PGL Cluj-Napoca. He ranked 17th in the 2024 Top 20 Player of the Year list and posted a 1.10 average rating while playing for the main roster.
MOUZ has made other roster changes this year, promoting xelex to the main squad and bringing in jL on loan. Jimpphat’s departure follows those adjustments and his earlier removal from the active lineup.
The club did not include comments from the player or provide further details about his next steps in its announcement.
Earlier, Natus Vincere also confirmed today that Justinas ‘jL’ Lekavicius leaves the organization after a three-year spell.
