MOUZ beat PARIVISION, reach Esports World Cup playoffs

MOUZ beat PARIVISION 2-0 in the Group C lower-bracket semi-final at the Esports World Cup and advanced to the tournament playoffs.

On Dust2, which PARIVISION had picked, MOUZ started on the CT side and led 9-3 at halftime. Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás and Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi produced most of the impact in the opening half, and Dorian ‘xertioN’ Berman made decisive plays on the attack to close the map 13-4.

On Inferno, coached by Dennis ‘sycrone’ Nielsen, MOUZ began on the attack and reached double-digit rounds before the side switch. PARIVISION won the CT pistol after the switch and gradually reduced the deficit. Evgenii ‘FL1T’ Lebedev denied a potential game-ending clutch by xertioN in round 22, but MOUZ held the lead and finished Inferno 13-10 to seal the series.

Individual numbers for MOUZ included Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi at 34-23 with 93.8 ADR and a 1.51 Rating3.0, Dorian ‘xertioN’ Berman at 36-25 with 99.3 ADR and a 1.42 rating, and Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás at 26-16 with 69.0 ADR and a 1.40 rating. Oldřich ‘PR’ Nový recorded 22-24 and Adrian ‘xelex’ Vincz 24-22, both with ratings near 0.94.

For PARIVISION, Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali led with 29-25, 72.4 ADR and a 1.05 rating. Evgenii ‘FL1T’ Lebedev went 27-30 with 80.3 ADR and a 1.03 rating. Ivan ‘zweih’ Gogin finished 23-27 with 65.3 ADR. Vyacheslav ‘slaxejezzz’ Vinokurov ended 18-30 with 51.3 ADR and a 0.73 rating, and Vladislav ‘xiELO’ Lysov was 13-31 with 45.1 ADR and a 0.58 rating. The defeat eliminated PARIVISION from playoff contention.
