Monte Esports names Rocketbet as title sponsor

Ukrainian CS2 organisation Monte Esports has named betting platform Rocketbet as its title sponsor. Financial terms and the deal’s length and scope were not disclosed.

Monte Esports has not disclosed the length or scope of its agreement with Rocketbet. The organisation shared a referral link to the betting platform and encouraged fans to register.

A title sponsor typically receives the most prominent branding position available to a team. Rocketbet’s logo may therefore appear on Monte’s player jerseys, videos, social media posts and other official materials.

The partnership follows Monte’s disclosure of financial problems in August 2026. Former player Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras accused the organisation of owing him tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid wages, tournament prize money, bonuses and revenue from stickers linked to the IEM Cologne Major.

Monte’s first response to the allegations drew criticism for its tone. In a later statement, the organisation apologised for parts of the response and disclosed that it had operated for two consecutive years without stable funding. It attributed the situation to staff cuts and salary delays of up to three weeks.

The financial problems preceded the departure of Monte’s previous core roster. Bymas, Aurélien “afro” Drapier and Oscar “AZUWU” Bell left the organisation in July 2026 to join Luminosity Gaming on free transfers. Monte did not receive transfer fees from those moves.

Monte has since sought strategic partners and investors to provide additional funding. It has also formed a new five-player European CS2 roster featuring Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, Alexander “br0” Bro and Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski.
