Mongolian CS2 Player Techno Leads Coca-Cola Campaign
Mongolian Counter-Strike 2 player Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold is the face of a Coca-Cola campaign featuring bottles labeled “GOAT,” meaning “Greatest Of All Time.”
Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold, also known as Techno4K, is the face of a Coca-Cola advertising campaign in Mongolia. Coca-Cola Mongolia, operated by MCS Coca-Cola, announced the campaign on social media.
The campaign features Coca-Cola bottles with “GOAT” in place of the usual logo. The term means “Greatest Of All Time,” and the bottles and advertisements include a Mongolian translation.
The campaign uses the format of Coca-Cola’s global “Share a Coke” program, which replaces the logo on one side of a bottle or can with “Share a Coke with…” followed by a first name, nickname or cultural title. The Mongolian campaign uses “GOAT” as the title.
Techno plays for The MongolZ, a Mongolian Counter-Strike 2 team that has worked with Coca-Cola on earlier projects. One campaign, “Coca-Cola x The Mongolz Homecoming,” marked the team’s return to Ulaanbaatar after international competitions. Team members also appeared at the Coca-Cola Real Magic Zone during the Playtime Festival, where they met fans.
In September 2026, esports organizer BLAST highlighted the support for Counter-Strike in Mongolia. Some Mongolian fans stay awake overnight to watch matches played in other time zones.
The MongolZ reached the final of the BLAST.tv Austin Major in 2025. Mongolia is considering tax benefits and financial support for esports players as part of proposed changes to its corporate tax law.
