Marvel Rivals adds 1v6 Path to Doomsday and Times Square events

NetEase released the April 30 update for Marvel Rivals as Version 20260430. The update is the second major release of Season 7.5 and adds a 1v6 PvP mode, Times Square activities, new cosmetics and targeted gameplay fixes.

Chapter 1 of the new Path to Doomsday mode stages an asymmetrical 1v6 matchup between the Avengers and Loki. The event runs from April 30, 2026 at 09:00 UTC through May 28, 2026 at 09:00 UTC. Players choose a side in the crossover event.

Times Square hosts two limited activities tied to The Avengers. A highlights screening of the Battle of New York runs from April 30 at 19:00 UTC through May 29 at 03:00 UTC; watching the screening continuously for two minutes at the viewing area grants the in-game Gallery Card: The Avengers. Daily showtimes are scheduled at 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time. A photo opportunity outside the Avengers’ Gift Shop lets players take a group picture with NPCs to earn 100 Units. The photo event runs from April 30 at 09:00 UTC through May 28 at 09:00 UTC.

New store items and visual effects arrive with the update. Bundles include Elsa Bloodstone – Bloody Butler, Iron Man – The Avengers, and Loki – The Avengers, along with the Bloody Butler Emoji Bundle, multiple chroma options and Ultimate Ability VFX for select heroes. New emotes include a Loki Kneel! emote and a Captain America Avengers Assemble! emote. Adam Warlock receives a Cosmic Warlock Ultimate Ability VFX. A Team Lobby themed after the Original Avengers went live on April 30 at 09:00 UTC. Most cosmetic items become available May 1, 2026 at 02:00 UTC.

A two-week Chrono-Rush event runs from April 30 at 09:00 UTC until May 15 at 09:00 UTC. Players earn Chrono Tokens by playing matches; there is no cap on points. In Blood Hunt mode, players who obtain the Kingpin Dethroned Trophy automatically unlock an exclusive emote that can be used while the accessory is equipped.

The patch corrects a rare Black Cat interaction where landing a grapple during Turn of Fortune could allow both Claw Whip and Phantom Pursuit to trigger at once. A Moon Knight fix addresses incorrect display and calculation for the Full Moon Spin Enhancement Gear’s cooldown reduction limits and Rating score. The update includes additional hero and gear optimizations.

Version 20260430 is available now. Players can download the update and access the limited-time Path to Doomsday crossover and Times Square events while they run.
