magic defeated FaZe 2-1 at Stake Ranked Episode 2 in Barcelona on May 29, 2026, sending FaZe to the lower bracket and advancing magic to the upper final.

The best-of-three opened on magic’s Mirage pick, where FaZe produced a one-sided defensive half. Russel Van Dulken (Twistzz) recorded 22 kills in that map as FaZe won the opener. magic recovered on Dust2, trading rounds before closing the map with a late sequence of Terrorist-side rounds led by tenzy (Nikita Kochenyuk) and MaSvAl (Svyatoslav Masko).

The decider returned to Mirage. magic secured the series with several multi-kill rounds from MaSvAl and AW (Andrey Anisimov). David Čerňanský (frozen) finished with strong numbers on the final map but FaZe were unable to overturn magic’s decisive rounds.

MaSvAl led magic with 54 kills, a 97.4 average damage per round (ADR) and a 1.35 rating. Tenzy added 42 kills and a 1.02 rating. Vitaliy sFade8 Marushka, AW and mo0N supplied additional contributions across the series. For FaZe, frozen top-scored with 60 kills, an 86.6 ADR and a 1.39 rating; Twistzz finished with 49 kills and a 1.22 rating. Jakub jcobbb, Ryan Neityu and Helvijs broky also posted notable numbers for FaZe.

magic will face the winner of Sharks versus Ninjas in Pyjamas in the upper final. FaZe drops to the lower bracket and will meet 9z next. The Barcelona event awards ranking points and prize money that affect team standings for the season.

magic reached the PGL Astana semifinals earlier in May and beat 3DMAX in an opening match at Stake Ranked Episode 2 before their win over FaZe.
