M80 defeated Natus Vincere 2-1 at BLAST Open Porto. The series began on Anubis, which Natus Vincere won decisively, before M80 recovered to win Mirage and the series-deciding Inferno.
On Anubis, Natus Vincere established control with a dominant Terrorist side and closed the map by a wide margin. M80 reversed course on Mirage, where the team secured eight defensive rounds aided by Fritz “slaxz-” Dietrich’s AWP work. On Inferno, slaxz- produced a quad-kill late in the defensive half as M80 pushed the match to a close second half.
Josh “JBa” Barutt finished the series with a 1v3 clutch on Inferno to secure match point and end the match. JBa recorded 44 kills, a 91.2 ADR and a 1.30 rating. Elias “s1n” Stein added 34 kills and a 1.08 rating for M80.
For Natus Vincere, Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy led the scoreboard with 40 kills and a 1.19 rating. Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov had 38 kills and a 1.14 rating. Other Natus Vincere players registered lower ratings and the team lost several late rounds on Inferno that decided the final map.
M80 entered BLAST Open Porto as underdogs after dropping out of the top 30 following early exits at BLAST Bounty and the Esports World Cup. The result was M80’s first win over a top-10 opponent since March 31, 2026, when they beat Aurora at Digital Crusade DraculaN Season 6.
The loss moved Natus Vincere to the Group A lower bracket, where they must win three consecutive matches to reach the playoffs.
