LOUD keeps VCT Americas partnership through 2028
LOUD will remain a VCT Americas partner through 2028, Riot Games’ next partnership cycle, one day after winning VALORANT Champions 2026.
LOUD has secured its place in the VCT Americas partnership program for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Brazilian organization confirmed the news Monday, Oct. 19, one day after defeating Team Vitality 3-1 in the VALORANT Champions 2026 grand final in Shanghai, China.
LOUD has competed in VCT Americas since the international league launched in 2023. It will continue as a partnered organization for the next two-year cycle.
“A new LOUD, a new chapter, and the same commitment to representing Brazil at the highest level,” the organization wrote on X. It also referred to its second world title, adding: “It’s not about how far we’ve come, but about where we intend to stay: at the top.”
The victory made LOUD the first organization to win VALORANT Champions twice. Its first title came in 2022, when it defeated OpTic Gaming in Istanbul. None of the players from LOUD’s 2022 championship roster were part of the team that won in Shanghai.
The 2026 lineup featured Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli, Enzo “tkzin” Zimiani, Roberto “erde” Lobos, Sebastián “Darker” Castro Cicuamia and David “DaviH” Cruz. With an average age of 20 years, five months and seven days, the team became the youngest roster to win Champions. Captain erde, who is 18, was named tournament MVP and became the youngest player to receive the award.
LOUD missed Champions 2025 before rebuilding its roster for the 2026 season. Its championship win came four years after the organization’s first world title.
Riot Games is changing the VCT partnership system in 2027. Each international league-Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China-will have eight partnered organizations, down from 10 in the current format. The new cycle will include 32 partnered teams worldwide.
LOUD’s partnership includes financial support, access to revenue-sharing opportunities and direct entry into the VCT Americas Kickoff tournament. Revenue-sharing opportunities include income from in-game Team Capsules linked to partnered teams.
The 2027 format will also allow non-partnered organizations to enter the VCT through open qualifiers. Those teams can compete for places in regional tournaments and international events. Riot Games has not yet published the complete official list of partnered organizations for the 2027 cycle.
