LoL Patch 26.22 Reworks Mel, Nerfs Yasuo and Adds K/DA Skins

League of Legends Patch 26.22 is scheduled for Nov. 4, bringing a reworked Mel, balance changes for 20 champions, new K/DA skins and the first phase of TFT’s client separation.

League of Legends Patch 26.22 is scheduled to launch Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, according to Riot Games’ patch schedule. Release timing may vary by region and server maintenance windows.

Mel will receive the patch’s largest gameplay update. Her W, Rebuttal, will no longer reflect enemy abilities. Instead, it will create a nova that expands to a 400-unit radius over 0.75 seconds, destroys enemy projectiles, shields Mel and nearby allies, and grants movement speed. Destroyed projectiles will trigger retaliatory damage when the nova ends. The ability can hit the same enemy up to seven times.

The update will shift part of Mel’s early strength into later scaling. Her base health will fall from 640 to 590, while health growth will rise from 99 to 107 per level. Her base mana will drop from 480 to 455, with mana growth increasing from 28 to 38 per level. Her armor growth and attack speed growth will increase, while base attack damage will fall from 54 to 52.

Mel’s Q, Radiant Volley, will deal less damage on its first hit, while later hits will gain stronger scaling. Its missiles will travel more slowly, and hitting an enemy champion will refund part of the ability’s cooldown. The mana cost will also decrease. Her E, Solar Snare, will gain a root duration that scales with rank and travel distance, along with a lower mana cost. Her ultimate’s cooldown will fall at ranks two and three.

Yasuo’s Q, Steel Tempest, will have its total attack damage ratio reduced from 105% to 100%. Thresh will lose base attack damage, and The Box will deal less damage. Locke’s Q, Ritual Nails, will deal less bonus damage, while the duration of his W, Soul Ignition, will fall from six seconds to five.

Aurelion Sol, Corki, Kayle, Maokai, Naafiri, Rumble, Shen, Smolder, Viktor and Zaahen will receive buffs. The changes include higher damage or ability scaling, shorter cooldowns, stronger healing and improved defensive growth. Doran’s Bow will lose one attack damage. Overlord’s Bloodmail will gain 10 attack damage, while its maximum bonus based on missing health will fall from 12% to 10% of total attack damage.

ARAM: Mayhem will receive changes to several augments. Armored Impact and BEES!!! will deal less damage. Ravenous Bind, Squishy Slappy Grab, Soul Eater and Stay Resolute will provide stronger healing, shields, health or resistances. Butcher’s Bridge and Koeshin’s Crossing will return to the map rotation, and the final page of the Journey to Stardom mission track will become available.

League Classic will add older versions of Volibear, Swain and Elise. The mode will also adjust Amumu, Evelynn, Ezreal, Fiddlesticks, Gangplank, Janna, Nami, Olaf and Rammus. Players will receive 50% more Classic Pass tokens per match for the rest of the mode’s run.

Patch 26.22 will begin moving Teamfight Tactics to a standalone client. The update will require a larger download. After installing it, players will be able to opt out of downloading TFT files with future League patches. The first Little Legends exclusive to the new client are scheduled for Dec. 1, while the separation of TFT cosmetics, including emotes and icons, is planned for Dec. 15. Existing TFT cosmetics will remain usable in the League client.

The patch will add K/DA Firestarter Ahri, K/DA Firestarter Evelynn, K/DA Firestarter Kai’Sa, K/DA Firestarter Ignition Akali, K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn and Prestige Classic Baron Kog’Maw. It will also include Music Fan Gragas and Prestige Classic Baron Kog’Maw chromas. Cosmetic availability may vary by region and server maintenance times.
