Latto wins back-to-back MVP as Legacy defends CS Asia title

Bruno “latto” Rebelatto was named CAC MVP for a second consecutive year after Legacy defeated Falcons 3-1 to retain the CS Asia Championship at the CAC event. Latto delivered nine clutches across the tournament and finished with tournament-leading performance numbers.

Legacy reached the final with wins over The MongolZ in the quarterfinals and MIBR in the semifinals. The title match concluded in four maps. On Nuke Legacy led 11-9 before Falcons’ Nikola “NiKo” Kovač landed two Deagle kills that swung that map; Legacy lost Nuke but regrouped and won the remaining maps to close the series 3-1.

Latto produced multiple late-round wins that affected momentum during the final. His nine tournament clutches included several decisive rounds in the series against Falcons, and team staff highlighted those plays as a determining factor in the title defense.

In his MVP interview latto said, “I am so happy. We knew it was going to be a really tough match. They’re a really good team, no question about it. The fact that we managed to win that final against them shows that we’re on the right track.” He credited conversations inside the squad and daily support for his recovery after a slow start to the year, adding that those discussions helped the lineup maintain focus and avoid tilt.

Latto also praised new in-game leader Andrei “arT” Piovezan for his influence on and off the server, describing arT as a unifying presence who pushes the group and brings players together. The team entered the event under arT’s direction and progressed through the knockout rounds into the final.

With less than two weeks before the Major, Legacy will prepare in Serbia for Stage 2. Latto said the CS Asia Championships win boosted the team’s confidence but acknowledged opponents will study Legacy more closely; he closed the interview with, “No days off.”
